Facebook Ad Specifications

Facebook ads are delivered across Facebook in supported ad formats. Facebook ads can appear in the news feed on desktop, news feed on mobile and in the right column of Facebook on desktop. The specifications are mentioned in the table.

Ad Specifications
  • File Type: .pmg, .jpg
  • Image Ratio: D1.91:1 to 4:5
  • Recommended resolution: Upload the highest resolution image available.
  • Images that consist of more than 20% text may experience reduced delivery.
  • Text: 125 characters.
  • Animation Limit: No limit on animation looping.
  • Click-through action: Must open in a new page, cannot open in the same page.
  • Creative Border: We do not have settings for creative border. It can be included in the creative by the creative builder.
Limitations
  • Campaign start date and end date should be setup as part of the campaign configuration in the Facebook Ad Account.
  • We provide campaign preview for image and video Facebook ads.
  • Currently we provide only three types of reports from our platform.
  • 1-Facebook Campaign Overview By Creative By Day.
  • 2- Facebook Campaign Overview By Creative.
  • 3- Facebook Campaign Overview By Publisher Platform By Day.
  • Reports will be available in Facebook portal on daily basis. The same report gets reflected in Jivox IQ after 24hrs.
  • The audience targeting, budget assignment and campaign activation happens on the Facebook Ad Account.
