Welcome to Jivox! In this section, we will go through the different steps to build a video campaign on JivoxIQ. This document should be used by the team that will work hands-on on the Jivox platform, as a supplement to the training provided.
Before we begin with the setup, let us take a look at the inputs required to build a dynamic video campaign on JivoxIQ.
Checklist | Description |
---|---|
Adobe After Effects | Software used to create the Creative Master comprised of video, animates, text, etc |
Creative Master | A Creative Master is the base template of the ad. It defines the relative placement as well as the animations of the different components of the ad. The Creative Master will be used to create the different ad variations. For more details on the creative specifications of the Creative Master, please refer here - Creative Guidelines Document and below section on Adobe After Effects Guidelines and Specifications |
Asset Mapping Document (optional) | The Asset Mapping Document outlines the Ad Personalization Strategy. This includes the data and information that will be used to assemble the different dynamic ad components. It is optional to create an Asset Map for your campaign, but it is also highly recommened for ease of communication between different teams. For Sample Asset Maps, please refer here - Asset Map Sample |
Asset Source | The Asset Source (also known as a feed) is a data source that contains information about all creative variations. Each row represents a different variant and every column represents a dynamic ad component. They also contain several lookup values that allow for the system to decide which variation should be served. For Sample Asset Source documents please refer here - Sample Asset Source |
Components (assets) | The Ad Components are the different elements of the video ad. For example, if the campaign strategy calls for 5 different background videos, 10 different product images, and 10 product copy (text). These videos, images, and copy constitute as the different Ad Components. |
Media Plan | The Media Plan is a document in which you can outline where your tags will be used by specifying which DSP they’ll be trafficked to and how many placements (tags) per DSP. At minimum you can generate one placement per DSP however you can also have multiple placements that will belong to one DSP. See example Media Plan. Media Plan Example |
