Feed Based Decisioning (FBD) is a dynamic expression which is built upon single or multiple asset sources and allows the user to query the asset sources where the result of the said query can be used as a right-hand-side value in the decision graph. |
In the decision graph, the advertiser is not allowed to perform lookup on asset sources while configuring the campaign in the decision graph, and those values must be entered manually. With feed based decisioning in place, the advertiser can design a query within a UI that is like the decision graph configurator. Any of the columns from the asset source can be used as the resultant value/values in feed based decisioning for the decision graph of the campaign.
The following table lists the users who have the required permissions to create or view the carousels.
USER PERSONAS | |
---|---|
Creative Designers | Can create and edit beautiful ads for visual impact. |
Campaign Builders | Can create and edit campaigns. |
Administrator | Have access to the combined capabilities of all roles, and additional features to help manage the organization. |
Super Admin | Have access to all features required to manage the organization. |
Support User | A user with Support role will have access to the combined capabilities of all roles (Observer, Analyst, Campaign Builder, Creative Designer, Trafficker, Clone user). They cannot create/manage accounts and user profiles. |
The Feed Based Decisioning (FBD) configurations should be enabled for an account at the advertiser level. This is enabled from the admin portal of the Production environment. Once it is enabled, for the two conditional operators ‘Is Contained In’ and ‘Contains Any Of’, a hamburger icon will appear in the rule setup of the campaign and subsequently, the facility to configure feed based decisioning is provided.
