Managing Campaign Approvals

The Campaign Approval page lists all the creative variants that are preview approval requests, view requests or draft requests, in a tabular format. All users of the account can use this page to view preview approval requests and approve or reject them based on their respective user permissions.

Let's first navigate to the Campaign Approvals page.

After logging in to your account, from the Left Pane, select Campaigns > Campaign Approvals.

The Campaign Approvals page is displayed. The options available to you on the Preview for Approval page are dependent on the role assigned to you.

Here's what the different columns in the table denote.

ColumnDescription
Preview NameName of the preview approval request.
Campaign NameName of the Campaign for which the preview request is created.
Created byRequester who has created the preview approval request.
Created onDate on which the preview approval was requested.
Status

The status of the preview approval request is, as follows:

  • Approved if all the approvers assigned to the preview request approve the request.
  • Rejected even if one of the approvers assigned to the preview approval request rejects the request.
  • In Progress if the preview approval request is sent for approval but the approval/reject action is pending. Even if one approver has not taken any action, then the status will remain ‘In Progress’.
  • Preview if the request is sent only to view the creative variants. By default, all the users added explicitly to the account are assigned as viewers.
  • Draft if the request creation process is incomplete and the preview request is saved as draft. The preview request is not sent for approval in this state.
ApproversEAM users who are assigned as approvers to approve/reject preview requests.
Options

The following options are available depending on the user permission.

  • Approve/Reject Preview:

    • For a request in ‘Approved’ or ‘Rejected’ status, clicking this option allows the approver to preview the creative variants and the segments (same as the approvers/viewers) and to view the list of users assigned, their approval/rejection activity and respective comments.
    • For a preview request in ‘In Progress’ status, clicking this option allows the approver to initiate the approval workflow for requests.
  • View Preview: This icon is enabled only for the preview requests in ‘Preview’ status. By clicking this option the user can only view the preview and the creative variants for the selected creative variant.

  • Edit Preview: For a preview request in ‘Draft’ status, clicking this option allows the requester to continue the request creation from where the draft was closed. For a preview request in ‘In Progress’ status, clicking this option allows the requester to update the roles of the users assigned to the request.

  • Delete Preview: By clicking this option the requester or the admin of the account can delete the preview request.
