Youtube Ads

Prerequisites for Creating a YouTube Campaign

The prerequisites needed before uploading video ads to YouTube channel:

YouTube Channel Account

This account is managed by the client. Jivox uploads video ads to this account after client authorization.

The member should have access to the desired YouTube channel.

Asset source

Before configuring the YouTube setup, an asset source should be available/uploaded.

Reporting Key values should be unique when uploading the asset source.

When uploading the asset source, the video URL must have contains https:

Mapping Column

The Key Field should be predefined as “Title”.

The Rotation Group column should be predefined as “Group” .

The mandatory columns should be Title, Group, Description, videoURL, Landing page url.

Video adsBefore creating a campaign, videos should be primary video ads and formats should be In-stream HTML5 or In-Banner Video.

Limitations

  1. In Dynamic Canvas Studio (DCS), we create an asset source for ad creation. This asset source is required only to create an ad but will not be used when uploading to YouTube. A separate asset source is used for uploading to YouTube.
  2. In the campaign setup, data signal mapping is required only for the DCS workflow.
